Our Take:
Not to be confused with eeMotion (that’s us 😊) The InMotion S1 feels like a well thought out quality unit. It looks good, has a large platform with bigger than normal rider weight capacity, a strong motor, a plush ride thanks to 10 inch pneumatic tyres with front and back suspension, clever lighting (love the auto indicators when you are turning), good water proofing and most importantly a huge range.
What’s not to like?
Well it is worth noting that the ability to handle larger riders and long distances does mean it is a bit taller and heavier than your regular Xiaomi/Pure units, so may not be suited to shorter riders. It does have a good strong fold down stem though, so if you are ok with the height and weight, it is still fairly portable.
One last point, it is cleverly packed to keep the size down. So you do have to do a bit (just a bit) more assembly than for some of our other scooters. Check out the videos people have done on YouTube.
NOTE: Some images who show a slightly different light variant with 2 spot lights. Our Unit is the 30km/h Large Single Headlight version.
